About Myself
I enjoy watching and playing all sports, especially football and cricket.My hobbies include traveling, reading, and walking around cities looking at the architecture and experiencing street life.

I was born and grew up in Hull, a medium-sized port city in the North East of England.It is famous for its dullness and I have no intention of living there again.I went to university in North Wales and graduated with a degree in French/Linguistics in 1997.Since then I have been teaching English and thus have barely a penny to my name, but that’s OK as I don’t care much for material wealth.

Why I came to China.
I came here because I’d never been before and China is the place that everyone seems to be talking about.I have always had an interest in Chinese food, culture, modern history, and politics.

Why I chose to work at Kai En?
Kai En seemed to be the most professional school in Shanghai and they don’t offer children’s courses.Also, I wanted to develop myself, learn more about teaching, and advance my career.Kai En has given me the opportunity to do this.
