Teaching Experience:
In 2004-2005 I taught general and business English to adults at British Institute in BresciaItaly. In 2002-2004 I taught at an Italian high school Liceo Scientifico Isaac Newton.I had all five levels.The first two levels I taught pronunciation and basic grammar.The following three levels I taught English conversation and English and North American culture(s).In 2000-2001 I was assistant at the University of Angers in France (Universite Catholique d’Angers).I taught English conversation to French university students.I also helped prepare for the First Certificate Cambridge listening and speaking.

About Myself
I do not come from a family where more than one language is spoken in the house.My family only speaks North American English.However, I have always loved learning languages, so I broke the mono-lingual cycle and went out into the world.Today I speak French and Italian and I would love to learn Chinese.I love teaching English because I am passionate about learning languages and being able to communicate with those from other cultures.In addition, I love traveling, hiking, reading, cooking, yoga and chatting with good friends over coffee.

Why I came to China?
My father worked in China years ago and his impressions sparked my interest.I am curious about learning Mandarin and more about Chinese culture(s) and history.

I chose to work at Kai En because of the teacher development program and it’s reputation among teachers and students alike.
