当我最初来中国的时候，我认为我的中国朋友有很多兄弟姐妹，我的好朋友经常说：“我刚给我在背景的姐姐打了电话。”然而在中国，人们经常叫自己非常亲密的朋友为姐妹或者兄弟。外国人不懂这个，所以要解释给他们听。
When I first came to China I thought my Chinese friends had a lot of brothers and sisters. My good friend often said, “I just got a call from my sister in Beijing”. However, in China people often refer to close friends as sister or brother. Foreigners don’t understand this, so explain it to them.
